Where the Robot Girl trend came from

Robot Girl is an AI series by @cozy.techdreams about an android at a tech expo. Each clip is one of her 'firsts' — first steps, first words, first hug. The first-hug clip was posted on 24 October 2026, and the series passed 20M views by late October.

The look: a navy tee, a rope barrier, blurred visitors, and an open mechanical core of silver parts, gears, and cables, lit blue and white. The android starts blank and still, then blinks, walks stiffly into a hug, softens, and steps apart smiling.

How to make it in 3 steps

  1. 1. Upload your photo

One photo for Android or Visitor, or two separate photos for Duo. Adults only, 18+. For Duo, the first photo is the android and the second is the visitor.

  2. 2. Choose Android, Visitor, or Duo

Android makes you the android. Visitor makes you the person who hugs an invented adult android. Duo uses two photos, one for the android and one for the visitor.

  3. 3. Generate · 2 credits

Credits are charged when you generate. Wan 3.0 (wan3.0-video) makes a 12s, 720p clip with sound. Resolution is always sent as 720P.

What it looks like

Android: you are the android, standing stiffly at the expo booth in a navy tee, chest open to a glowing mechanical core. Visitor: you stand beside an invented adult android and reach for the hug. Duo: the first photo is the android and the second is the visitor, both kept from their own photos.

The video runs one continuous take: blank and still, then a blink, an engineer nods, stiff arms rise, jerky steps forward, and the hug softens — head on the shoulder, core glowing brighter — before the two step apart smiling.

The sound is expo hall hum, servo whirs, and a crowd 'aww', with no music. The visitor's spoken hug question is in the prompt, but whether it comes out intelligible is unverified.

Which photo works best

Use a sharp photo facing the camera, in good light, with the face clear. Adults only, 18+. Your face and body are kept exactly, and the expo booth, navy tee, and mechanical core are built around them.

In Visitor mode the android is invented, so your photo only needs to show you. For Duo, upload two separate adult photos — not one photo of both people together. Use your own photos only, no celebrities.

Prompts

Also on the prompts page. The Android pair is the default; Visitor and Duo swap in their own prompts.

Android · Internal first-frame prompt

Use the uploaded photo as the base. Keep the adult person's face, body shape, skin tone, hair, and hands exactly the same as in the photo. Do not turn the person into a celebrity lookalike. Show the person as an adult android standing stiffly at a tech expo booth, arms straight at the sides, blank expression, eyes open and looking at the camera. The chest is open to show a mechanical core of silver parts, gears, and cables, lit with blue and white lights. The android wears a plain navy T-shirt. A rope barrier runs in front of the booth, and blurred visitors stand behind it. Bright expo hall light, photorealistic, not CGI. Vertical 9:16. Exactly one adult, no text, no logos.

Android · Video · 12s

A single continuous take with no cuts, shot from one fixed camera position. Keep the android's face, body, navy T-shirt, mechanical core, and expo booth exactly as in the still image, with identity locked to the still throughout. The android starts blank and still, then blinks. A staff member at the edge of the frame nods. The android raises both arms stiffly, takes small jerky steps forward, and a visitor steps in and asks, 'Can I have a hug?' The android holds the hug, softens, rests its head on the visitor's shoulder, and its core glows brighter. Then the two step apart, and the android smiles. Movements stay stiff and mechanical until the hug, then gentle. Audio: expo hall hum, servo whirs, and a crowd aww, with no music. No text, no logos.

Visitor · Internal first-frame prompt

Use the uploaded photo as the base. Keep the visitor's face, body shape, skin tone, hair, hands, outfit, colors, fabrics, and accessories exactly the same as in the photo. Do not blend the visitor with anyone else and do not turn the visitor into a celebrity lookalike. Show the visitor as an adult standing beside an invented adult android at a tech expo booth, facing the camera, one arm reaching toward the android as if about to ask for a hug. The android is an invented adult woman with a calm, blank expression, a plain navy T-shirt, and an open chest showing a mechanical core of silver parts, gears, and cables, lit with blue and white lights. A rope barrier runs in front of the booth, and blurred visitors stand behind it. Bright expo hall light, photorealistic, not CGI. Vertical 9:16. Exactly two adults, no text, no logos.

Duo · Internal first-frame prompt

Use the two uploaded photos as the base. The first photo is the android, the second photo is the visitor. Keep each adult's face, body shape, skin tone, hair, and hands exactly the same as in their own photo. Do not blend the two people and do not swap their clothes. Show the android standing stiffly at a tech expo booth, arms straight at the sides, blank expression, eyes open and looking at the camera, chest open to show a mechanical core of silver parts, gears, and cables, lit with blue and white lights, wearing a plain navy T-shirt. Show the visitor beside the android, in their own outfit from the second photo, one arm reaching toward the android as if about to ask for a hug. A rope barrier runs in front of the booth, and blurred visitors stand behind it. Bright expo hall light, photorealistic, not CGI. Vertical 9:16. Exactly two adults, no text, no logos.

FAQ

Do I need to be 18?

Yes. Robot Girl is 18+ only and adults only. Photos must be you or adults who agreed. Use photos you own or have permission to use. No celebrity lookalikes.

Which mode should I choose: Android, Visitor, or Duo?

Android: one photo, and you are the android. Visitor: one photo, and you hug the android, who is an invented adult. Duo: two photos, the first is the android and the second is the visitor.

Will the spoken hug question be clear?

That is unverified. The video prompt includes the visitor asking for a hug, but whether the spoken line comes out intelligible is not verified: it may be unclear or garbled. The hall hum, servo whirs, and crowd reaction are the reliable parts of the sound.

What does the hug look like?

The android starts blank and still, then blinks. An engineer nods, the android raises stiff arms and takes jerky steps forward, then the hug softens, the head rests on the visitor shoulder, and the core glows brighter. The two step apart smiling.

Where do I get the prompt?

You do not need to write one. The page uses fixed prompts for the internal first frame and the video. You can read the Android, Visitor, and Duo prompts in the Prompts section below or on the prompts page.

Is the android a real robot?

No. Every clip is newly generated AI video from your photos. There is no real android at an expo. Label the result as AI where a platform asks.

What photo works best?

Use a sharp photo facing the camera, in good light, with the face clear. Adults only, 18+. In Visitor mode the android is invented, so your photo only needs to show you. In Duo mode, upload two separate adult photos: the first is the android, the second is the visitor.

How long is the Robot Girl video and how much does it cost?

Every Robot Girl video is 12 seconds at 720p, with hall hum, servo whirs, and a crowd reaction. It costs 2 credits when you click Generate. Packs: $9.99 for 2 credits, $19.99 for 6 credits, and $49.99 for 18 credits.
