Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Knight Cat AI (knightcatai.com) collects, uses, stores, and deletes information when you use the site, create an account, upload a photo, buy video credits, or contact support.

Information We Collect

Account information: email address, name, authentication provider, and session data.
Photos and results: the pet or person photos you upload, the knight still, and the finished video.
Generation records: template, pet type (cat or dog), provider task id, status, credit charge, and the provider's reported cost.
Billing information: Stripe customer id, checkout session, and payment status. Card numbers stay with Stripe.
Technical data: IP address (stored as a hash for abuse limits), browser, and logs.

How We Use Information

We use this information to create the still and video, keep your library, charge and refund credits, limit free previews, send the video-ready email, and prevent abuse.

We do not train our own models on your photos. The generation provider (APIMart) receives the photo and prompt in order to make the still and the clip. That provider's own terms apply to that processing.

How Long We Keep Photos and Videos

Uploaded photos, watermarked stills, and finished videos are deleted from our storage 30 days after the job is created. Download the clip before then. A provider link can expire in about a day, which is why the finished file is copied to our storage when the job succeeds.

Account and payment records are kept as needed for credits, refunds, and accounting.
