One pet photo. Memorial tone. No people. Modes: marigold bridge video or ofrenda portrait still.

## Models

Still: Google Nano Banana (`gemini-nano-banana-2.1-ext`). Video: Alibaba Wan 3.0 (`wan3.0-video`), 10s, 9:16, 720p, original guitar score. 3 credits. Ofrenda still-only: 1 credit.

## Still prompt (marigold)

## Still prompt (ofrenda)

Use the uploaded image as the base. Keep exactly the species, breed, face shape, eyes, nose, muzzle, fur color, fur length, markings, ear shape and age of the pet in the photo so it stays clearly recognizable under the face paint. Gently paint a respectful, artful Día de Muertos sugar-skull (calavera) design on the face only: a soft white base, colored circles around the eyes with delicate floral and scroll details in marigold-orange and magenta, a small heart or jewel on the forehead, painted lips; elegant and memorial, not scary, no blood and no gore. Place a light marigold flower crown between the ears. Background: a warm candlelit ofrenda with orange marigolds, glowing candles and colorful papel picado. Soft warm light, photorealistic, fine detail, chest-up to whole-pet portrait, natural four-legged or seated pose. Vertical 9:16. Exactly one animal, no people. No text, no logos, no watermark, no cartoon style, no frames or overlays.

## Video prompt

Turn this photo into a video, please. The pet is running over the bridge of flowers, coming toward the viewer. And animate the fireworks, please. Keep the animal's species, face, fur, markings and size and the marigold bridge exactly as in the image. Audio: a soft, warm original instrumental tune on a gentle guitar, the distant crackle and pops of the fireworks and light paws on the petals; no singing, no speech, no barking. Exactly one animal, no people. One continuous shot, no cuts, no extra animals, no extra legs, no morphing. No text, no subtitles, no logos, no watermark.

## FAQ

### What does the Day of the Dead pet video show?

Your pet runs toward the camera over a bridge of orange marigolds (cempasúchil), with fireworks behind. Soft original guitar music. One animal, no people. 720p video.

### What is the ofrenda portrait mode?

A still-only memorial option: sugar-skull face paint on the face only, marigold crown, candles and papel picado. It costs 1 credit and has no video step. Cheaper than a video when you only want a portrait.

### Can I use an old photo of a pet that passed away?

Yes. A clear photo of the face and body works best. The still keeps the same animal. This is a gentle tribute, not a horror clip.

### Is it respectful of the tradition?

We treat it as a memorial tribute. Copy stays gentle. Families remember pets on ofrendas; 27 October is often noted as a day when pets are welcomed back. Peak window runs through 2 November. We do not use unrelated film names in titles or UI.

### When is Día de Muertos?

Día de Muertos is observed on 1 and 2 November in Mexico. Many families also remember pets around late October. This page stays live year-round.

### How much does it cost?

Marigold bridge video is 3 credits for 10 seconds, 9:16, 720p. Ofrenda portrait is 1 credit still-only. Signed-in accounts get 2 free watermarked stills per UTC day on the video path. Packs: $9.99 for 2 credits, $19.99 for 6 credits, and $49.99 for 18 credits.
